During the recent ESTRO 2026 Congress in Stockholm, two scientific posters highlighted the clinical performance of the MacroMedics DSPS Prominent immobilization system.
The studies, conducted in the United Kingdom, demonstrated that combining DSPS Prominent with Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) provides excellent setup accuracy and treatment reproducibility, while at the same time improving patient comfort.
The results support the use of less restrictive immobilization without compromising precision.
These findings further underline the potential of DSPS Prominent to enhance both the quality of head and neck radiotherapy and the patient experience.
